The Sepulveda Unitarian Universalist Society is a vital group of adult members and friends who, along with our children and youth, are committed to the tradition of liberal religion. We have a rich history in the San Fernando Valley starting in the 1940’s.
Our affiliation with the Unitarian Universalist Association connects us to a global Unitarian Universalist community whose roots extend back into antiquity.
We are brave, curious, and compassionate thinkers and doers. We are diverse in faith, ethnicity, history and spirituality, but aligned in our desire to make a difference for the good. We have a track record of standing on the side of love, justice, and peace.
We have radical roots and a history as self-motivated spiritual people: we think for ourselves and recognize that life experience influences our beliefs more than anything.
We need not think alike to love alike. We are people of many beliefs and backgrounds: people with a religious background, people with none, people who believe in a God, people who don’t, and people who let the mystery be.
Sepulveda Unitarian Universalist Society is a Unitarian Universalist Welcoming Congregation. As a religious community open to all people, we affirm the differences among us, and firmly pledge our welcome to and support for people of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender community.
Worship is central to our faith tradition. Along with our Sunday services, age-specific Religious Exploration programs and social activities are planned for all.
