Thursday, May 24th 7 – 9 PM. California’ clean energy future is under attack. Join Food & Water Watch for a special screening of “Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room” and learn about why we must stop the takeover of California’s energy system from dirty fracking and coal interests through a scheme called grid regionalization.
The legislature may soon vote on bills to eliminate California’s energy grid and merge it with western states that are dominated by fracked gas and coal.
The event will feature Loretta Lynch, a hero in the fight against Enron’s price gouging in the 1990s. Lynch will share why we must call on Senators Hertzberg, Stern, and other state legislators to vote no on this bad proposal.
