We are all essential, and in knowing this, we often shame ourselves for not being “at full capacity”. When our muses are silent, our pens and brushes still, we are prone to shame ourselves. Have you seen a bird fly and never land? When we step away from “the story” we write about ourselves and what we “should” be doing, we become open to a world where we are in the flow of life, sometimes ‘resting with folded wings; knowing that this is the law’.
