ALL are welcome to join our members and friends for Justice Discussions! We get together twice monthly to share justice-oriented news and information. We focus on education and learning the civic skills needed to engage in a truly participatory democracy. What can we do as individuals? We can connect, communicate, organize and work together! We can choose to take a step, to take ACTION. In doing so, we’ll help transform ourselves, our society, and heal our beautiful garden planet, “our common home”.

While we focus mostly on Social and Environmental issues, Peace and Justice of all sorts are part of our EVOLUTIONARY process.

We’ll happily discuss any topic dealing with Truth, Justice, and Liberty for all!

Our Justice Discussions Group is FREE and ALWAYS opened to the general public.

SUUS Social Justice Committee Chair, Carol Hart, will facilitate. We will discuss latest developments in Los Angeles City Hall. She and several other local activists recently addressed the City Council’s Budget and Finance Committee.

City Council Member, Paul Koretz, is a fantastic friend to the people. He will soon announce new Environmental initiatives that will help locals in a various ways.

Pando Populus has officially held an inaugural event to kick off a series of hands on workshops aimed at helping people connect and get involved in vital demonstration projects that help tranform the City of Angels!

We’ll share news about the very first Pando Hub, at the Natural Ivy Foundation, in Korea Town and our work here in the Valley, to establish collaborations with CSUN Institute of Sustainability for targeted projects that benefit both students and their neighbors.

We can fill you in on the Neighborhood Council Sustainability Alliance and their new “Cool Blocks” program, with CB Leadership Training provided by David Gershon, and Cool Blocks projects coming soon to a neighborhood near you!

If you’re curious and you’d like to learn more about these programs or if you’d like to speak with our group about other issues, we welcome you to join the conversation.
