As Unitarian Universalists, we work to de-centralize the powerful, the dominate and the majority. This often comes into conflict with social norms and celebrations. One such event is celebrating St Patrick’s Day. The message ofPatrick of bringing Christianity to Ireland was an attempt to not only spread christianity but also to drive out the Druids, Pagans, and Celtics. Pastor AJ and the Onionaires will be leading a service exploring the balance asking: “How do we celebrate with one section of our UU population and honor the struggles of another?”

We will also have the distinct honor or welcoming 2 new families to our community as covenantal members and the Onionaires will be performing “Rising Green” by Carolyn McDade
