Intergenerational Service – “Holiday Traditions”

Our last service of the year will be an Inter-generational service, open to all ages.  Join us as we share our own holiday traditions and celebrate the diversity within our church family.  Doris Dent will be leading us in this exploration. Wife, mother, and grandmother, Doris engages easily with others and will bring the opportunity for all to share the traditions so loved in this season.

Doris is a retired elementary teacher and principal.   Since retirement Doris has become a social and political activist.  She is an elected delegate to the State Democratic Party and is on the local Executive Board along with husband Lloyd.  Doris also coordinates a scholarship program for high school seniors through Valley University Women. (In June 21 students received $3000 scholarships.)  Family is paramount though.  Doris and Lloyd recently celebrated their 58th anniversary.    They have amazing 3 sons, 3 delightful daughters-in-law and 4 grandchildren; the youngest, Nelly and Preston, are frequent visitors to SepulvedaUU.
