The 2nd annual Interfaith Solidarity March for Peace & Justice will take place on October 28th.
Beginning at 2:00 pm we’ll march from St. Bernardine of Sienna Catholic Church 24410 Calvert Street, in Woodland Hills we’ll “walk the walk” AND “talk the talk” with friends & allies of all denominations here in the San Fernando Valley!
The March will proceed down the street and around the corner to Temple Aliyah at 6025 Valley Circle Blvd then on to Woodland Hills Presbyterian Church 5751 Platt Ave before ending our shared sojourn at the Ezzi Masjid Mosque at 5701 Platt Avenue where inspirational words and a delicious dinner will be served to participants.
The Interfaith Solidarity Network breaks down barriers and inspires solidarity among communities in the San Fernando Valley, highlighting the importance of civic participation and compassion for those in need. We build relationships across cultures and faiths. We educate our communities. We organize for peace and justice. We mobilize against intolerance. We embrace the principles of nonviolence. Dinner served after closing ceremonies.
