Angel Tree Project (11/08)
As we have done for many years, congregants of Sepulveda Unitarian Universalist Society will again have the privilege of providing Christmas gifts for children served by North Valley Caring Services. We have a list of 20 children, ages 2 to 11 (over half of them are 9 or 11 years old) for whom we agreed to purchase Christmas gifts of new clothing.
You choose a child’s name (some choose two children) for whom you agree to provide new clothing; a warm jacket and perhaps a pair of gloves, a new pair of shoes and socks, or some new jeans and a shirt or sweater. These are some suggestions. Shopping for these gifts is always fun.
If you want to participate, or have questions, please contact Marilyn M.
IMPORTANT: Wrapped gifts must be returned to the church no later than Sunday, December 8th or sooner if possible. Thank you for choosing to participate in this tradition of gift giving.
