Art and Poetry Sunday! The Internet can create an illusion of community, but it is through in-person relationships that we truly develop a passion for life. By engaging with a community of caring individuals, families have the opportunity to expand their support network. This Sunday, we will gather in small groups with creative intentions. We will start with a chalice lighting and a song. You will choose an interest area with a small group of people where you will spend about 30 to 40 minutes creating. We will regroup in the sanctuary for a closing, and then this Sunday we will be celebrating July and August birthdays with a Mexican themed lunch, ice cream, and cake. It will be an opportunity to share in the community and get to know others in a deeper way. We invite you to join us for the celebration.
Children’s Play and Learning: Join with parents and others in you choice of activity for our Art and Poetry Sunday. All are invited on Sunday evening at 4:30 pm for welcome and hospitality as we gather for our evening celebration. Our Service begins at 5:00 pm and lasts approximately one hour after which all are invited to enjoy conversation and refreshments.
Breaking Bread Together: Hospitality invites you to stay after service at 6:00 pm to join together for a FIESTA at SepulvedaUU! Hospitality will be serving an appetizer and a main dish, plus delicious green salad, fruit, drinks, and more! You are welcome to add a dish to the festivities if you would like. It would add to the table and be appreciated. If you have questions, please ask Phyllis R, Gary D, or Mary K.
All are welcome!
