The Sunday Experience

  • 4:30 pm – Welcome and Hospitality
  • 5:00 pm – Evening Service (ZOOM Opens)
  • 6:00 pm – Refreshments
  • 6:30 pm – Continuing Conversations

Human beings have been responding to the call of the visual arts since our ancestors began painting in caves and carving bones. Rev. Rayna Hamre will explore how Public Art’s use of symbols has historically shaped communities. Continued support and awareness of the arts can help us be stronger social justice advocates. She will also speak to ways of dialoguing with Nature and opening ourselves to joy with suggestions for creating our own art.

About our Speaker: Rev Rayna Hamre

Rev Rayna Hamre serves as the Affiliated Community Minister at the Unitarian Universalist Church in Anaheim. A native of Southern California and a long-time Unitarian Universalist, she holds a Masters of Divinity degree from Meadville Lombard Theological School, and a MA in History from CSU Fullerton. Prior to her ordination, she worked in academic libraries.

She is the Founder and Lead Teacher of Three Worlds One Heart, a spiritual education platform and community committed to honoring Indigenous wisdom, dismantling systems of oppression, and fostering inclusive spiritual growth. Rooted in ancient mystery traditions, inner journey work, and contemporary mystical practice, Three Worlds offers workshops, training, and mentorship for people of all backgrounds. The program invites participants to safely explore the Upper, Middle, and Lower realms while cultivating ethical leadership, personal transformation, and a deeper connection to justice, spirit, and community.

Now semi-retired, she has more time for painting and sketching. Rev. Rayna and her husband Stephen support social justice activities in Orange County, including CLUE OC, the OC Foodbank, and Huntington Beach Pride at the Pier.
