Breaking Barriers: Love as a Radical Act

The Sunday Experience
4:30 pm – Welcome and Hospitality
5:00 pm – Evening Service (ZOOM Opens)
6:00 pm – Refreshments
6:30 pm – Continuing Conversations
This sermon will challenge us to consider how love can break down the barriers of division and hatred in our society. Emphasizing the importance of our Unitarian Universalist identities, we will engage in a dialogue about love as a radical act—one that can inspire justice, equity, and inclusion. Let us come together to envision a world transformed by compassion and mutual respect.
Share the Plate Sunday: We are pleased to report that a special collection on February 9th for the Anti Recidivism Coalition plus Matching Funds totaled $230 from our small but generous congregation. The check was given to Carlos Cervantes from ARC on February 23rd at an inspiring Sunday Service presentation. As a congregation we support their efforts to help people coming out of incarceration to integrate into society and forge a new and better life.
Another example of our community extending a helping hand, the SUUS Board allocated and the community collected $200 to send to the American Red Cross for use in helping victims of the Los Angeles Fire. Way to go SepulvedaUU!
We are proud to announce that this week we will be sharing our Sunday Collection. We are grateful for all you do and give to SepulvedaUU! We invite you to be even more generous this week as we share everything we receive outside of regular pledge contributions. Your generosity goes a long way! This Sunday, we will contribute to Somos Familias Valle.
Children’s Play and Learning Trays: Children are welcome to join the adults in the Sunday Experience. They will be provided Children’s Play and Learning Trays, which contain various activities so that the children can participate in during the Sunday service. If you have any questions, please contact Teri I.
All are invited on Sunday evening at 4:30 pm for welcome and hospitality as we gather for our evening Service. Our Service begins at 5:00 pm and lasts approximately one hour after which all are invited to enjoy conversation and refreshments.
All are welcome!
