2024 General Assembly

Join us online Thursday, June 20 through Sunday, June 23, for an all-virtual General Assembly 2024. We will return to a multiplatform GA in 2025, gathering online and in Baltimore, Maryland, June 19-22, 2025. If you are interested in attending, please Register for Zoom links. The cost is $315 if you Register by May 15, and will go up to $400 afterward. Everyone is invited to go. If you are interested in becoming a delegate, please contact Janet L.

Dessert Table and Conversation

The Hospitality Committee of SepulvedaUU invites you to stay after services this Sunday, March 31, 2024 for a Dessert Table and Conversation, from 6:00 pm – 6:45 pm. This is in addition to our snacks and drinks before services, from 4:30 pm to 5:00 pm. In addition to our usual coffee and tea, we will also be offering hot chocolate and sparkling apple cider, along with scrumptious, delicious desserts! It’s an Easter Egg Hunt!

At long last our Easter Egg hunt is back! We will have eggs packed with goodies hidden all around the church. We have put a special surprise in a few eggs, so your child can start a savings account, maybe. The Egg hunt will begin after the service. During the service the children will have UU Play and Learning Trays they can take to their seats.

Potluck and Party Games!

This is a great opportunity to laugh, have fun, and share your favorite potluck dish! We will also be playing party games organized by Marilyn. Please RSVP by Thursday, April 18 with your name and what you will be bringing. If you can’t bring food, you could bring cups, large plates, or forks and napkins. See you there!

February 2024 Beloved Community, As we enter the second month of the year, known as Black History month in the United States, a shout-out to Carter G. Woodson. Woodson’s devotion to showcasing the contributions of Black Americans bore fruit in 1926 when he launched Negro History Week in the second week of February to coincide with the birthdays of Abraham Lincoln and Frederick Douglass.
