7:00 pm PTZoom Room 1

Our social justice efforts are kicking off! We are committed to meeting on the 4th Tuesdays on Zoom, and occasionally in person when we have a speaker to deal with the challenging issues that affect our community (LA), our state (CA), our nation (USA), and this blue green planet home of ours known as EARTH.

So join us on Tuesday, November 26th as we unpack Project 2025 with our brilliant membership, friends of SepulvedaUU, and a few select guests.

Social Justice at SepulvedaUU:
The SepulvedaUU Social Justice Committee will meet on Zoom.

The mission of the SepulvedaUU Social Justice Committee is to coordinate social action efforts, empower the congregation to choose social justice issues for study and action, and integrate such activities fully into the overall life of the congregation. Regular committee meetings are held, and members and friends of SepulvedaUU are encouraged to attend and make their voices heard, as the committee decides on key matters and what path the SepulvedaUU community will take in the fight for “peace, liberty, and justice for all.” Those members and friends of the congregation who would like to lend their voice in a more informal setting are invited to attend the monthly Justice Discussion Group.

We envision a world that recognizes our interconnectedness as but one part of the web of all existence that transcends time and space.

Progressive Interfaith Alliance:
Our Mission is to spread the good news of Unitarian Universalism that celebrates the oneness of and universal dignity of our planet and all life upon it.

As a community, we are centered in what is commonly known as the 7th Principle of Unitarian Universalism, drawing upon the promotion and affirmation for the respect for the interdependent web of all existence of which we are a part. With this principle as our foundation, we center our relationships with our planet, humanity, and all other life to our own spiritual growth.
