Divine Light

As we move into December and 2024 comes to a close, we are celebrating the theme of Divine Light and reflecting on the incredible journey we’ve experienced together over the past year. We’ll explore how light symbolizes hope, guidance, and the divine presence in our lives. We’ll explore how light symbolizes hope, guidance, and the divine presence in our lives, especially during the darkest time of the year.

Question
How can we recognize and honor the spark of the divine in every family’s unique story, especially those whose experiences challenge traditional norms, and what does this call us to do as a faith community to embody radical acceptance and compassion?

Celebrating Diversity
We’re excited to introduce our latest series, “31 Days of Illuminating Family Diversity.” Throughout the month, this daily series will celebrate the beauty and diversity of families within our communities. We will spotlight family diversity as part of our ongoing Celebrating Diversity series recognizing that Family takes many forms—chosen families, blended families, multigenerational households, and families of various cultures, orientations, and identities. By sharing their stories, we hope to reflect and amplify the light of acceptance, unity, and compassion in every family story.
