First we marched… now we Huddle.

All across the USA, marchers and their allies are joining together in small groups called ‘Huddles’ to transform the energy of the women’s march into local state and national action. Gathering together in a ‘Huddle’ is the first step we need to take in order to mobilize so we can help create the sort of country in which we’d thrive.

SUUS’s Huddle on Haskell will meet for the very first time on March 1st at 7:00 p.m. at the Onion. A huddle is a free, positive, inclusive and action-oriented local group where marchers and their allies gather together to define our next steps as a movement, and envision how to transform the energy we saw at the Women’s March into local, state and nationwide action.

Tell a neighbor, bring a friend, or bring your relatives, but definitely bring your ideas.

Those unable to attend this inaugural event are welcome to come to the next meeting, please contact us for information on upcoming meetings.

Who are allies?

They are people who stand with those who marched but could not participate. Huddles provide ongoing, accessible opportunities for those who still wish to stand up or speak out in favor of gender equality and women’s reproductive rights. Anyone who wishes to have a say in how our nation is developing is welcome to join us.

This event is sponsored by the SUUS Social Justice Committee and SUUS Board of Trustees.
