Examining Whiteness (01/27)

One of the ways racism affects us is by shaping our identity; true for both white people and People of Color. This series, based on curriculum by Rev. Dr. William Gardiner, invites Unitarian Universalists, particularly white participants, to engage deeply in understanding over 400 years of white supremacy in the United States and its impact on individuals and society.
Through this program, participants will explore:
- The History of White Supremacy in the U.S.
- The Emotional Lives of White People
- Racial Identity Development
- The Racial Identity Journey
- White Power and Privilege
- Developing a Positive White Identity
This group‑based model encourages reflection, dialogue, and emotional processing in community
Every 4th Tuesday, 7pm – 8:30pm from Jan to June 2026
