Gary Davis

Gary Davis joined SepulvedaUU in 2014. He was seeking a church that would be accepting of
spiritual beliefs and not require him to conform to an established dogma. He stayed because he had
always felt welcome at this church from the very first time that he visited the church. Gary served on
many committees, including Membership, Nominating, and he currently serves on the Hospitality,
Programming Committee, and the Board of Trustees.

Gary sees the future of this church as one of the major transitions, and it is one filled with opportunities to bring our church into the 21st century. Gary looks forward to serving on committees that reach out to people who are unfamiliar with Unitarian Universalism and introduce them to our welcoming congregation.

His personal history includes volunteer work with the American Red Cross, Catholic Big Brothers/Big Sisters, along with several other Non-profits, fundraising for National Alliance Mental Illness, and the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Prior to retirement in 2017, Gary worked in the delivery of Auto parts and food, as well as Call Centers, Insurance, and Retail.
