Generosity: A Divine Property of Islam

The Sunday Experience
4:30 pm – Welcome and Hospitality
5:00 pm – Evening Service (ZOOM Opens)
6:00 pm – Refreshments
6:30 pm – Continuing Conversations
Explore the perfected, mathematical property of Generosity within the Islamic faith, that is conducive to a fair and just society.
Salaam Thompson, a native of Chicago’s notorious South Side, was raised Catholic and attended Catholic school from K thru 12.
In search of peace and purpose to help him navigate a childhood wrought with tragedy, trauma, and judgement, he discovered and made his conversion to Islam when he was just 15 years old, citing the high character development, empowerment, and spiritual upliftment.
Islam has been a pillar of support for him as he transitioned to adulthood and in present day. He is currently the VP of the Board of Trustees for the Center For Spiritual Living Granada Hills. He is married to his childhood sweetheart for nearly 25 years, and is a proud father of two young adult children.
Children’s Play and Learning Trays: Children are welcome to join the adults in the Sunday Experience. They will be provided Children’s Play and Learning Trays, which contain various activities so that the children can participate in during the Sunday service. If you have any questions, please contact Teri I.
All are invited on Sunday evening at 4:30 pm for welcome and hospitality as we gather for our evening Service. Our Service begins at 5:00 pm and lasts approximately one hour after which all are invited to enjoy conversation and refreshments.
