Gratitude in the Struggle (11/02)

How can we remain grateful while engaging in the hard and holy work of resistance? As authoritarianism threatens justice and democracy in our nation, gratitude can sustain us – not as passive acceptance but as fuel for courage. This service explores practices of gratitude that ground us, even when the work is exhausting.

Children’s Play and Learning Trays:
Children are welcome to join the adults in the Sunday Experience. We provided Children’s Play and Learning Trays, which are filled with fun activities to help children engage and participate in during the Sunday service. If you have any questions, or would like to discuss ways we can best support your child’s Sunday experience, please reach out to Teri I.
Breaking Bread Together
On the first Sunday of every month, immediately following worship service, our Hospitality Team invites you to join us for a community meal.
Gathering around a shared table is special. Stories are told, connections deepen, and community grows stronger. Each dish brings flavor and meaning. All who are able are welcome to bring a food that reflects your heritage or a family favorite. Together, our contributions create a beautiful tapestry of cultures, traditions, and care.
Come hungry, bring a dish, and most importantly, bring yourself. Let us break bread together and celebrate the bonds that unite us.
