Love that Levels the Field (05/04)

What if love isn’t sentimental—but strategic? This Sunday we explore the difference between charity and equity, between pity and power. Real love—the kind that liberates—calls us to dismantle systems of injustice and to examine the structures within our own hearts. Come prepared to wrestle with what love demands of us.

Breaking Bread Together: We will have a community pot luck celebrating on May 4th, Cinco de Mayo! Bring your favorite foods from our Mexican heritage, we’ll have friendly conversations and good connections! We welcome all contributions to our table! Thank you.

See you then. 4:30 to 5 pm gathering and snacks. 5 to 6 services. 6-7:30 sharing dinner together.

Children’s Play and Learning Trays: Children are welcome to join the adults in the Sunday Experience. They will be provided Children’s Play and Learning Trays, which contain various activities so that the children can participate in during the Sunday service. If you have any questions, please contact Teri I.

All are invited on Sunday evening at 4:30 pm for welcome and hospitality as we gather for our evening Service. Our Service begins at 5:00 pm and lasts approximately one hour after which all are invited to enjoy conversation and refreshments.

All are welcome!
