Ceramics: Life Lessons in Clay

Funny thing about ceramics—it teaches us life lessons in the most unexpected ways:

1. Life can be messy.
2. Your first attempt often won’t go as planned.
3. Everything takes practice.
4. Patience is key.
5. It teaches us the art of letting go.
6. No matter how careful you are, things can break.
7. Holding on too tightly can lead to things falling apart.

Ceramics, Jazz and Wine (not whine): Our pottery classes in Sunland continue to be a favorite among our congregation. There are lively discussions that range from how to interact with your grandchildren, to what it means to be generous, or what are the best techniques for gardening, and more. If you are not interested in ceramics, you are welcome to come and hang out, join the discussion, listen to jazz, and bring a bottle of your favorite wine to share. See you there.

Fee: $20.00/month depending on how many pieces you create.

* Children are welcome with an adult.
