Pottery Studio (08/12)

This week we will be putting in the hard work to create enough bisk wear to fire. We will also explore painting on bisk ware to see the effect. It was reported to be a more vibrant color when you use underglazes on bisk wear. For those who do not know what bisk wear is, it is clay that has been formed but not fired. it is very unstable and can be broken very easily. Come with your artist skills and create a beautiful piece.

Ceramics, Jazz and Wine (not whine): Our pottery classes in Sunland continue to be a favorite among our congregation. There are lively discussions that range from how to interact with your grandchildren, to what it means to be generous, or what are the best techniques for gardening, and more. If you are not interested in ceramics, you are welcome to come and hang out, join the discussion, listen to jazz, and bring a bottle of your favorite wine to share. See you there.
