Ever wondered how slip can transform your pottery? Slip is a liquid mixture of clay and water used to decorate and add texture to ceramic pieces. In this session, we’ll experiment with slip to give your creations a whole new dimension. Need ideas? Check out “Earth Nations Ceramics” on YouTube for inspiration, then come by and make your own masterpiece. We’ll provide all the materials you need. Whether your piece turns out stunning or simply one-of-a-kind, it’ll be your unique creation.

Ceramics, Jazz and Wine (not whine): Our pottery classes in Sunland continue to be a favorite among our congregation. There are lively discussions that range from how to interact with your grandchildren, to what it means to be generous, or what are the best techniques for gardening, and more. If you are not interested in ceramics, you are welcome to come and hang out, join the discussion, listen to jazz, and bring a bottle of your favorite wine to share. See you there.

Fee: $20.00/month depending on how many pieces you create.

* Children are welcome with an adult.
