President’s Corner
November 2023
These are exciting times for SepulvedaUU. We have an inspiring new minister, Rev Gordon Clay Bailey. We have grown from having two services a month to weekly services. Our Board and other leaders in the congregation are working hard to build our community and bring new programming. We had a productive Board Retreat in September, and we have an upcoming planning session on November 18th. I am grateful for everyone in our congregation for showing up and navigating change.
I am looking forward to the future of our community.
The Board recognized the need for administrative services and help with building website and social media presence. We are excited to announce that we have entered into a covenantal partnership with BRIDGESUU which is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to helping small congregations with a systemic approach, providing services which will help us to strengthen our congregation and grow into the future.
Through Bridges we now have a dedicated part-time Office Administrator, Geneys Landry. We have been working with Bridges to update our website, calendar, and Breeze data management system. You will be seeing and hearing more information in the coming weeks about changes that will allow us to work more efficiently and provide timely communications.
Board Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of the month at 6:00 p.m. via Zoom and are open to
anyone who would like to attend.
Be on the lookout for more information and feel free to contact me or any of our other Board Members if you have questions.
