Rooted in Wonder (09/14)

This Sunday lifts up the spiritual journey across the lifeSpan, from our youngest seekers to our eldest sages. We’ll explore the ways Unitarian Universalism nurtures hearts and minds across the arc of life. We will introduce this year’s programs and honor the shared responsibility of shaping a community where all can grow.
The Sunday Experience
All are invited on Sunday evening at 4:30 pm for welcome and hospitality as we gather for our evening Service. Our Service begins at 5:00 pm and lasts approximately one hour after which all are invited to enjoy conversation and refreshments.

Children’s Play and Learning Trays:
Children are welcome to join the adults in the Sunday Experience. They will be provided Children’s Play and Learning Trays, which contain various activities so that the children can participate in during the Sunday service. If you have any questions, please contact Teri I.
Matching Funds w/ North Valley Caring Services
We are proud that each month SepulvedaUU is able to match every dollar given in our Second Sunday Offering. Contributions beyond regular pledges are doubled, turning our shared collection into an even greater source of support for local charities.
Your generosity truly makes a difference. Please plan ahead for your giving to help us continue doubling our impact.
This month’s Matching Fund recipient is our Community Partner North Valley Caring Services (NVCS), a nonprofit organization serving the residents of the Northeast San Fernando Valley. What began as a soup kitchen in 1978 has grown into the largest single-site food distribution center in the San Fernando Valley, offering FREE programs and services to over 300,000 people a year experiencing food, housing, employment, and economic insecurity.
