We are in the midst of a year unlike almost any other. The concerns of an election year. The reality of warfare in the air. The ongoing racial, ethnic, transphobic disharmony of our national life. The issues that arise from all of the linked oppressions inherent in our everyday lives. These, and so many challenges must be faced. Hence today’s service. We are a covenantal community, we have spaces filled with peoples from cultures far and wide, we are a compassionate people ready to step into the future with hope, vitality and optimism. Join us at SepulvedaUU as we discern together how to survive and even thrive using our beloved denomination as our bedrock.

NOTE: This will be a “Full Community Celebration” with The Mountain UU and UUs for Racial Justice. After the Service. We will be hosting an extended checkin and discussion space with breakout rooms for BIPOC and White Siblings.

All are invited on Sunday evening at 4:30 pm for welcome and hospitality as we gather for our evening celebration. Our Service begins at 5:00 pm and lasts approximately one hour after which all are invited to enjoy conversation and refreshments.
