How many of us live our lives as if there will be a report card at the end of the term? What would constitute an “A” in your book, spiritually speaking? And does it matter? Oncology chaplain and popular guest speaker, Michael Eselun will explore these questions.
About Our Speaker
Michael Eselun, serves as the chaplain for the Simms/Mann‐UCLA Center for Integrative Oncology. Two-time TED-X speaker, Michael speaks extensively to healthcare professionals, patient populations, and faith communities across the country. Long serving as adjunct faculty at the Wiesenthal Center/Museum of Tolerance, he’s also worked as an activist/educator addressing anti-LGBTQ bias in the larger community for well over 35 years. In 2019, Michael was inducted into the UCLA-Semel Institute Eudaimonia Society, in recognition of having lived a meaning-driven life. In early 2025, he was recognized as a Champion of Care by the Cancer Support Community-Los Angeles. The Sunday Experience
All are invited on Sunday evening at 4:30 pm for welcome and hospitality as we gather for our evening Service. Our Service begins at 5:00 pm and lasts approximately one hour after which all are invited to enjoy conversation and refreshments.
- 4:30 pm – Welcome and Hospitality
- 5:00 pm – Evening Service (ZOOM Opens)
- 6:00 pm – Refreshments
- 6:30 pm – Continuing Conversations
Children’s Play Trays:
Children are welcome to join the adults in the Sunday Experience. We provided Children’s Play Trays, which are filled with fun activities to help children engage and participate in during the Sunday service.
