The Family You Choose to Love

We often speak of love as a state of being, or as something that happens to you. But love is a verb, an action you must choose again and again. In the LGBTQ+ community, where it is still tragically common to lose blood family to bigotry, we often speak of the family you find for yourself. What can the concept and the practice of “found family” teach all of us, gay or straight, cisgender or transgender? How can choosing to love, instead of simply letting love happen to us, transform our relationships and our world?

Children’s Play and Learning Trays: Children are welcome to join the adults in the Sunday Experience. They will be provided Children’s Play and Learning Trays, which contain various activities so that the children can participate in during the Sunday service. If you have any questions, please contact Teri I.

All are invited on Sunday evening at 4:30 pm for welcome and hospitality as we gather for our evening Service. Our Service begins at 5:00 pm and lasts approximately one hour after which all are invited to enjoy conversation and refreshments.
