Father’s Day and Pride share this Sunday — and what a powerful union it is. We celebrate the queer and trans parents, the non-binary nurturers, the Black and Caribbean fathers, and all those who father in creative, chosen, and courageous ways. This is a service about expansive love and the fluidity of self. Come hear stories of transformation, liberation, and the fathers who dared to be whole.

Additionally, we will be featuring the inspiring work of our Constructive Theology and Creative Expression Art Show and Presentations, participants from our recent workshops celebrating the intersection of faith, creativity, and community. Participants have explored their personal justice theology and we are thrilled to showcase their thought-provoking and heartfelt projects.

Children’s Play and Learning Trays: Children are welcome to join the adults in the Sunday Experience. They will be provided Children’s Play and Learning Trays, which contain various activities so that the children can participate in during the Sunday service. This will be a “Full Community Celebration,“ which includes The Mountain Top UU, UUs for Racial Justice, and SepulvedaUU. After our Service, we will be hosting an extended check-in and discussion space with breakout rooms for BIPOC and White Siblings.

All are invited on Sunday evening at 4:30 pm PT for welcome and hospitality as we gather for our evening celebration. Our Service begins at 5:00 pm PT and lasts approximately one hour after which all are invited to enjoy conversation and refreshments.
