Pluralism, as a social idea, stands in contrast to another social idea–uniformity. Uniformity inserts into a set of relationships the expectation that there is one shape, one way, one system, one look, one beauty, one kind (of anything, but almost always people) that is acceptable.

Our Unitarians Universalist faith offers a more reasonable approach to the great diversity of peoples, ideas, realities. Join us this first Sunday of the New Year as we celebrate Pluralism in all of its many splendid ways!

Breaking Bread Together: We invite you to a Community Pot Luck after services at the Center for Spiritual Living. We will be welcoming the New Year in with traditional foods, including Hoppin’ John, a stew from our Southern Traditions, delicious! Plus, of course, other tasty dishes! Our pot lucks are a lot of fun and good times to spend in community. If you have any questions, please ask Phyllis R, Gary D, Mary K, or Doris D.

Children’s Play and Learning Trays: Children are welcome to join the adults in the Sunday Experience. They will be provided Children’s Play and Learning Trays, which contain various activities so that the children can participate in during the Sunday service. If you have any questions, please contact Teri I.

All are invited on Sunday evening at 4:30 pm for welcome and hospitality as we gather for our evening Service. Our Service begins at 5:00 pm and lasts approximately one hour after which all are invited to enjoy conversation and refreshments.

All are welcome!
