Traditionally, religious understanding has been relegated to the human mind. Even in alternative
faith practices, we tend to interpret deities and spiritual entities through the frame of human
experience. But what if the religious impulse is something all species share in common?
About Our Speaker
Nicholas D’Agosto (he/him) is a UU seminarian at Meadville Lombard Theological School set to graduate with a Master of Divinity degree in May 2026. He currently serves as the Intern Minister at Throop UU Church in Pasadena, CA. He has also been a professional TV/Film actor for over 20 years. His podcast God & Other Delicacies (G.O.D.) begins with the question, “How and when were you introduced to the idea of God in your life?” and follows the guest’s journey from there. A long-time LA resident that was born in Omaha, Nebraska, Nicholas lives in North Hollywood with his wife, son and dog.
The Sunday Experience
All are invited on Sunday evening at 4:30 pm for welcome and hospitality as we gather for our evening Service. Our Service begins at 5:00 pm and lasts approximately one hour after which all are invited to enjoy conversation and refreshments.
- 4:30 pm – Welcome and Hospitality
- 5:00 pm – Evening Service (ZOOM Opens)
- 6:00 pm – Refreshments and Continuing Conversations
Children’s Play and Learning Trays:
Children are welcome to join the adults in the Sunday Experience. We provided Children’s Play and Learning Trays, which are filled with fun activities to help children engage and participate in during the Sunday service.
