“Those who dream by day are cognizant of many things which escape those who dream only by night.” – Edgar Allan Poe

Come and Play with Us!

Whether you’ve been journaling for decades or haven’t written anything since high school, you’ll find a welcoming community that celebrates authentic expression over perfect grammar. Many participants discover that writing helps them uncover memories, deepen their spirituality, laugh at life’s surprises, and connect more deeply with themselves and one another.

Each session begins with one or more playful, thought-provoking prompts designed to spark your imagination. You’ll have quiet time to write, followed by an opportunity to share your work with the group if you wish. Listening is just as valuable as sharing, and passing is always a complete sentence. You’ll never be asked to read aloud unless you want to.

Whether you write a paragraph, a poem, a letter to your younger self, or simply jot down a few thoughts, you’ll leave with something uniquely your own and perhaps a new appreciation for the power of putting words on paper.

Bring a notebook, your favorite pen (or keyboard), a beverage, and an open heart. We’ll provide the prompts and the playground.
