Ministerial Announcement from the Board

The Board of Trustees is happy to announce some exciting news as we begin a new congregational year!

We are delighted to share that SepulvedaUU has contracted with two seminarian students from Iliff School of Theology, Chase Williams (He/Him) and Paolo Sparti (He/Him), to serve with our congregation throughout the coming year.

This is an exciting time for SepulvedaUU, and we are looking forward to a year of transformation, discovery, and growth. We trust that Chase and Paolo will bring fresh perspectives and new insight into congregational life while also inviting us to grow in greater depth, love, and compassion.

Both Chase and Paolo are excited about Unitarian Universalism and are looking forward to being part of our community. They will be with us in person for most Sunday services and, on average, approximately two weeks each month for meetings, pastoral care, congregational activities, and other opportunities.

Their first in-person visit with the congregation will be during the first week of September, and we are especially looking forward to welcoming them at our Sunday service on September 13.

Our Hospitality Team will also host a special Breaking Bread Together gathering so that we can share a meal, conversation, and fellowship as we welcome Chase and Paolo into the life of our congregation. We hope everyone will take the opportunity to introduce themselves, get to know them, and help them feel at home among us.

As we enter this new chapter together, may we remain open to what is possible. May we welcome new ideas, ask courageous questions, deepen our relationships, and continue becoming the congregation we are called to be.

We are excited about the year ahead and grateful that Chase and Paolo will be alongside us on this journey.
